T 9 Hike Big Little Marsh trail off Michigan Rd with naturalist Steve Waldron Meet in the parking lot off Michigan Rd. This hike takes us through sand dunes that were an ancient shoreline and then through a beech/maple forest. 9 a.m
T 9 Art class: Tie Dye T-shirts 1 p.m. $10 includes one t-shirt and 3-4 dye choices

Ages 3-5 10:00-10:30 (class size 6 children with adult per child) call to register as class size is limited
Tuesday, August 1: Make a duck from recycled stuff that really floats.
Wednesday, August 2: Model clay into a perching owl with eyes that glow.
Thursday, August 3: Put together a flying owl with textured feathers, beak and claws.
Ages 6-10 11:00-11:45 (class size 12 students)
Tuesday, August 1: Design a duck postage stamp with pen and watercolor.
Wednesday, August 2: Choose an owl to be modeled in clay as a wall hanging. Focus on the textures of eyes, claws, beak and feathers.
Thursday, August 3: Choose three different species, observe and paint the different patterns of colors to create a mobile of ducks. Or maybe a family of three of one kind,
Age 11-Adult: 1:30-2:30 (class size 12 students)
Tuesday, August 1: Observe the exquisite work of decoy carvers and build a papier-mâché duck model to be painted on Thursday.
Wednesday, August 2: Study the variety of sizes, shapes and features in owl species and then tease out the textures on scratchboard.
Thursday, August 3: Paint the patterns and colors that identify your chosen duck decoy species.
